 Listed below are the services we offer:

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION (MPI)

 

MPI is used to locate surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials (carbon/ mild steel). It is a relatively inexpensive method of inspection and can easily be carried out on site.

LIQUID PENETRANT INSPECTION (LPI)

 

LPI is used to locate surface-breaking defects in both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic, non-porous materials.  Again, a relatively inexpensive method of inspection and can be carried out on site.

ULTRASONIC EXAMINATION (UT)

 

 

UT is a volumetric inspection method used to locate both surface and sub-surface defects. It is also used to carry out thickness and lamination checks. This method can be used on forgings, castings, weldments and much more. 

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION

 

Our technicians are qualified to both ASNT Level II and PCN Level II in MPI.
Both black and white and wet fluorescent methods are available. (Other methods available on request)
 
LIQUID PENETRANT INSPECTION
 
Our technicians are qualified to both ASNT Level II and PCN Level II in LPI.
Both red visible and fluorescent methods are available. (Other methods available on request)
 
ULTRASONIC EXAMINATION
 
Our technicians are qualified to PCN Level II in 3.1/3.2 and Lamination and Thickness Checking.
We are also qualified to ASNT Level II in Forgings and Lamination and Thickness Checking.
